The spring snow goose season is something I look forward to every year. Every spring our crew starts the light goose season down in Northwestern Missouri and follows the migration through North Dakota. Puttin the hammer down...

No! No! No! In persuit of bullgills...

Last weekend we had taken a trip to a new lake. While we were all excited hoping to catch the famous “pounder” it was close but no cigar. The gang consisted of Nate, Arron, Wicky, Screech, and I. We had taken all of our gear and loaded it up into the enclosed trailer the night before. That night I remember Nate telling Wicky that he’s got to bring the donuts. The trip of a lifetime...

Hello all. I am a part of the Avery Youth Field Staff, which is how this whole story came to be. It all starts off with my dad passing away this March. It was a very unexpected death that took his life and changed my family’s life forever.
